Changing a Graph’s Point and Line Type

Note: This feature is not available for Scatter Plot graphs.

Altering the visual aesthetic of a graph’s point and line types can be handy in situations where your graph has more than one dependant variable and you wish to create visual distinctions between them. On the other hand, you may want to streamline the appearance of all variables.

To change the point type of a Time Series graph:

  1. With your graph open, click from the Graphing Toolbar. A drop-down menu will appear.
  1. Select . The Appearance Options window will open.
  1. Click . Your graphed channels are shown in a list on the left, and to the right are graph style options.
  1. Select each channel one-by-one, choosing a point type and line type for each.
  1. Click when finished. Your graph will refresh with updated point types.
