Change the Map's Background

You may wish to modify the way your map appears. This article describes the various map background options.

By default, a basic street map view is used as the map's background. This mode is useful for eliminating a lot of the clutter that you may not wish to see in a map. It focuses on road paths, green spaces, and water ways. However, you can manually switch through the various map modes by clicking either Map or Satellite, found near the bottom-corner of the map.
